An Exciting Announcement
From Pastor Joey!

Good Evening Cornerstone Family!

We are excited to be gathering INSIDE the building for Church THIS SUNDAY, June 7 at 9am and 11am!  There will be many changes in place to meet current guidelines.

Please watch the video included at the end of this email in addition to reading the following details about the procedures we are implementing for a safe return.  I realize that some of you may not be ready to return in person and I invite you to continue to watch Sunday Service online!  Online or at home, we are all Cornerstone Family!

I miss you all and look forward to the day we can have EVERYONE back, but I realize that it will probably be a few more months before that’s possible.

Here are the changes taking place in our building beginning this week.

  • The building has been UV sanitized by UV Clean Las Vegas and we will continue to budget for this service every 90 days (Read about the full extent of this sterilization process that kills 99.9% of pathogens at
  • Restrooms and all touch surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized between any gatherings.
  • Children and Youth Programs are not available at this time.  We ask that families sit together so that kids from different households aren’t in class together.
  • 220 chairs have been removed and the sanctuary is currently set up with social distancing in mind.
  • Limiting congregants in one given room to 50% of capacity.
  • 1 entrance and 1 exit will be used until further notice.  1 way in and 1 way out.  Please enter from the front entrance off of Eldora.
  • We will dismiss church in sections.

  • Please stay home if you feel sick.
  • Masks are recommended for all congregants.
  • Staff and working volunteers are to wear face covering while not engaged in the actual worship service (Before and after church.  Pastors and staff in seats can remove coverings)
  • Staff and volunteers are not to gather in groups without meeting social distancing protocols.
  • Staff and volunteers will be assisting congregants to practice social distancing while on campus.
  • We are asking congregants to refrain from hugs and other personal contact for now.

We ask that all congregants respect the personal space of others.  We all hold different perspectives about the pandemic.  We ask that each person show honor to the various personal perspectives of their fellow congregants.  DO NOT VIOLATE THE PERSONAL SPACE OF ANOTHER PERSON.  And mostly please DO NOT assume everyone thinks like you!Click HERE to watch my video about our return inside the building!  I can’t wait to see many of you this Sunday!

We are praying for all of you and I encourage you to continue submitting your prayer requests on the Cornerstone LV App so that the Pastoral Team can lift your specific needs up in prayer.  Let’s all continue to lift up our nation in prayer for peace and open hearts willing to listen each other.
